cod4 is gonna be crazy.

I can't wait for COD4 to come out but I will have to get it for the console cause my PC won't be able to run it.

I am getting tired of WWll (except BF42.) so I will pass and probably buy it later.

They will revive wwII games when u can play on a large battlefield with over 100+ people, with just trench and mortar warfare like it was in most of the WWII battles..

forgotten hope 2 is scheduled to be released around the end of september/early october. I lurk their site religiously to find out release dates, that's fresh off the press news from the Developers.

take a peek at the in-game shots, pretty amazing attention to detail. Should be out in a month or two. Also another good WWII mod for BF2 is Battlegroup Frontlines.

they have some pretty amazing face skins, and really good attention to detail and historical accuracy. Apparently their mod will be out around the same time as FH2, most likely before FH2 though.

well to be honest it's a pretty difficult task, with BF1942 the forgotten hope development team had it made, mostly they had to alter already existing models, or re-skin tanks and such.

 In FH2, they are having to create everything from scratch, there is no WWII soldier that they can slightly alter, they have to turn USMC into British North African fighters, and they have to create all of their badass planes/tanks/jeeps/apc/submarines from scratch as well.

Also they have to completely change all of the voice commands, skin/code/create custom animations for their weapons(brilliantly done by the way). Here's a little video showing how badass their weapon animations are, and the sounds are spot on, the skins are to die for. It's worth the wait i think.

no, i told you the weapon animations were all done by one person. I gave you a link to that video above and said the animations were the work of all one person. He's pretty damn good, huh? And their sounds are excellent, there was a sound and texture pack released for FH1 and it was flippin amazing.
