i watched the memorial too. the news anchors or whatever were talking about how everyone is making a big deal of it because they use it to get away from other problems like the economy and north korea and all that. i guess thats kinda true.

He may have been a great entertainer, but that's not what I care about. I care about the fact that his funeral cost LA about $4 million. That money is coming not from the Jackson family, but from the city. Why should the city have to pay for this? Sure it's important for some people, but I believe the majority doesn't think so.

A lot of news sites said 4 or even 6 million before his memorial. But afterward, LA released a report which said 1.4 million. It's still a lot in my opinion. Why can't the Jackson family pay that? I'm positive that they have the money to do so.
