Battlefield problems
« on: February 09, 2006, 02:43:32 PM »

Every time I try to run Battlefield 1942, a tan-gray screen comes up. I hear the " ea games... challenge everything" and then the music, but I'm getting no video except for the tan screen. I am not running too many programs, and it works some days and not on others. Any guesses?

When it does that, try hitting F11.

Are you sure you didn't delete the intro files or the blackscreen programs?

works sometimes and sometimes not hmmm never heard of that one before but in most cases if bf does not display video you have a video or dx driver issue.

i think he might have deleted the files. My opinion is to uninstall everything and reinstall it. I'm sorry if you have to fill out your buddy list and everything in the folders, but your going to have to. If not that you may have to change video cards with something better like a Radeon 9700 or something better
