My friend bought battlefield 1942 today. he got 4 cd's with battlefield road to rome - Secret weapons of WWII, and the normal battlefield.
he just installed the game, but when he clicks on ''Multyplayer'' --> Internet --> Update , there aint comming any servers, i tryed much things to get the game working but it still can't find any servers. i'm sure it's already on the V1.6 but i just installed the V1.6 again to check it out.

Does anyone knows whatsup with it? do i have to install something or what?
i just never had this by my own. i hope you guys can help me out.

Firewall block... Make sure to set permissions in the firewall program for "BF1942.exe" and "BF1942_w32ded. exe" (<< just in case he wants to run a server).

i did what you wrote here,thanks. but when i started the game up again and tryed the same things, it still can't find servers.
