I know a lot of you guys here read/follow the bible, wondering what everyone thinks about this.
Doubt many will read the whole thing, but it's an interesting read none the less.

I didn't read quite the whole thing, but one thing that came to my mind was that mention of homosexuality is not limited to the old testament, it is also mentioned in Romans for sure, and maybe other books, I'm not sure. I would agree though that nothing suggests that it is worse than other sins, and that Christians are often hypocritical by focusing in on homosexuality and ignoring other issues.

All religious people are wierd. More so than gay people I think. I work with this lesbian girl and she's alot easier to get along with, chatty and down to earth than any god fearing wierdo I've met and she has a much better grasp of reality. Mind you, I am biassed as I do hate all religions and religious belief. I consider religion a ball and chain on the development of any culture and society.

Saying something is okay because it "happened in the bible" is a pretty piss poor excuse.

Less than 200 years ago people were still doing it with 13 year old women in the western world. It still happens today so it's clearly fine to some people.
