Fuck elliott smith and his lame ass music just another fucking drug user that people paid good money to like the rest of the so called "artist" fuckin makes me want to puke thinking all the money people waste handing it over to drug using scum like them so they can have nice lifestyles just to waste it doing drugs what a fucking waste.

Funny, he had the same sentiments about himself as you did.  Consequently, he killed himself, lol.  Not really funny, but kind of.

If he doesn't get money, he stops making music.  Spending a little of it on drugs is something I'm willing to allow, not because I like drugs, but because I like his music that much.

Sounds like a common tweaker to me. And I don't believe he made "one hell of an impact" if no body has heard of him.

Well enough people have heard of him for him to be asked to write a song for Good Will Hunting, which was nominated for multiple Academy Awards.  Furthermore, he was nominated for that same song ("Miss Misery") and performed it live at the Oscars.  See, this is what I'm talking about: people spouting off things before they check their validity.  Moreover, no one has heard of you.  Conversely, many, many people have heard of Elliott Smith, thus my subjectively quantifying that as a "hell of an impact."  You simply cannot argue that the man had an insignificant impact when, upon his death, MTV, VH1, the New York Times and many other media establishments devoted time and energy towards remembering him.  No offense, but no one would do that for you...or me... or anyone I know personally.  He existed on a different plane in that regard.

I rule.

Acid might be illegal and therefore frowned upon by you, but don't knock it before you try it.  It's quite a good time.  Alcohol and cigarettes are more harmful, if that elucidates your perspective at all.

Ok elliott I will be waiting. And for the rest of you it isnt funny when someone gets killed no one can stab theirselv in the heart 2 times unless they are on some damn good speed he was murdered any retard can see that well wait the local pigs dont oh well.

Well, that's exactly one of the big pieces of evidence.

1.  No hesitation wounds.  Most people who stab themselves initially stab themselves shallowly in hesitation.  There were no such wounds here.
2.  He misspelled his name on the suicide note: "God, forgive me. - Elliot"  One T, not two.
3.  He stabbed himself through his clothes.  Almost unheard of; very rare.
4.  Girlfriend was uncooperative with authorities immediately after the incident; she wouldn't speak to them.
5.  Bruises on one shoulder and opposite forearm - possible defense wounds.

I'd like to believe he was murdered and that he did not up and abandon his adoring fans, but I don't lose sleep over this one.  He made one hell of an impact while he was around.  I can only hope to be as influential.

LOL, I'm just talking madness am I?  Well, fyi, I have a basic physical science class right now.  I'm also passing it with a 98.  With a 3.75 GPA ta boot.  So don't go around saying that people need to stop drinking and learn about science.  Cause of 1, I don't drink, I'm 14 you idiotic table manafold; and 2, I can put any thing that I want on the forum besides porn and warez.  Which I did not do.  So if you have a problem with me and my thoughts that I put on here.  Please post a response asap.

Okay, so you're in middle school?  Great - I'm glad to hear you're getting good marks.  I can only commend your vigor for learning.  However, don't be so haughty as to think that a 14 year-old has any of the answers.  I have faith you'll step from ignorance to wisdom one day, but until then, just quietly get the job done.  As a wise man once said, the only thing we know is that we know nothing.

fyi:  I was valedictorian in Middle School, starting smoking and drinking and slipped down to a 28th place finish in High School with a 3.75 GPA (coincidentally) and landed in the #7 college in America.  I, too, am on the search for knowledge, young tenderfoot.

Have faith in the world.  People are inherently good, but some can't escape the lures and traps of life and fall victim to apathy, greed and self-hatred.  Don't do that.

Three bits of advice:

1.  Take a basic science class.  Maybe, go with your little brother to his Science class - that is, once he's finished playing dodgeball at recess.
2.  Read something that gives you factual current information.  Oh! - A newspaper would suit.
3.  Take a very basic English class.  Grammar and diction are all very, very foreign to you, or so it appears.

You're speaking from emotion and not from reason.  Kill off half the people so we can reduce pollution?  We'll be living in the same world for the next 50 years?  What?  Where are you getting these fantasies?  Drink less mushroom tea, man.  I'm not saying to stop drinking it, but just cut back.
