i still need a power supply for my comp... i got an SLi board and a 7800gt i need a power supply that supports SLi, ive been looking on newegg and other places forever and i still cannot find a good one in a good price range help me! it also has to have SATA connectors not ATA

i have an antec 500 watt power supply and it's SLI ready and comes with sata connectors.  check out antec.com

btw, SLI gpu is a big waste of money.

cuz SLI benchmarks show that they don't perform that much better than single graphic cards.  They are better, just not for the value of money that it involves.  If you want that extra 5 fps then i suggest getting SLI, but since you have a 7800 gt that's gonna be pretty expensive getting another one.

well, where did u red you review? because i also read one that said it accelerated the graphic performance almost 100%, not saying ur wrong but someones review is... hope its not mine lol, or else alot of money wasted for me

Sli will not be a 100% performance increase lol there are way to many system bottlenecks for that kind of power.

You can try this web site.  Its an Antec 500 watt SLI powersupply.  They have others that are larger.  This one is $90.00. I have had good luck with this company.  It may be cheaper elsewhere.

well i bought a XION 500w PS, it got good ratings on newegg, and it had all the shit i need, BTW i hop PCI-E x2 is the same as SLI technology for a PS or im screwed

SLI= 2 pci express slots.

Also, my computer originally came with a 450w XION power supply and it was fried the 3rd day I used it.  Then I bought my antec. Hope yours doesn't burn up.
