Just spent 2.4 grande on parts for my computer for my senior project :D
4 gigs of ram
2 the best u can get video cards
and other stuff but they are in my closet and i dont want to go look at what they are :D
Pretty much everything the guy at compusa said would make a awesome gaming computer :D!!!

You wanna tell us what the specs are? which video cards? and a $200 fan, never seen that.

Well mine was 300. The only one i can think of thats 500 or more would be the mozart TX case from thermaltake.

Chris is right you got screwed. But then again of you have the cash and retarded I guess it doesn't matter.
Did you get 10k rpm hard drives? with that kind of system a 7.2k will just bottle neck. Or go all out and get some 15k scsi

The fact you went to compusa is also pretty funny. My highschool dropout friend works at a compusa:D. And if its a $500 case it better be a fuckin vapochill or somthing...

Also 4 gigs of ram? you will never use it. I have 2 gigs and even running 2 games, yes 2 games and a bunch of other shit like hack tools. Memory dumps etc I am lucky if I use a gig.

In ten years, might be 2 gigs. Most people out there are still running 512mb... If they make games out of those ranges then they wont sell as many games. Not everyone is rich and fork over 2.5g's for hardware.

our entire system was 2800, but that was 5 years ago and i still am able to run the newest of games at high settings. And it came with a killer 5.2 surround sound with a subwoofer that's taller than the tower.

i don't know, there's 5 speakers and 1 sub, so i don't know what the extra .1 is for...

Best sound is using a a nice high end receiver and 2 main 10" subs and 2 rear 5 1/4" midrange and 2" pizzo tweeters for the center. Then use the power of the sound blaster 2 and up sound cards to use cmss and then you will have a killer sound system.
I can play bf and when I fire a gun or tank I can hear it as it was real and feel it as if it was real.
