I would say maybe on the cable if you have the RS box it came in.
Opening a new can of worms with the Video card, remember you have a Dell. I am NOT saying Dells are bad, but some do not like/let you upgrade.
To start do you have a video card installed now or are you using "on board" graphics?.
Here use this tool (link below) and post the results (I know I find the cool stuff).
DOWN LOAD GPU-Z
Don't worry, that's one of the few things i actually know how to do correctly, i've switched the graphics card on the dell twice to see if the green monitor was my monitor going bad, or my g-card. I'm not worried about doing that.
Btw, my dell doesn't have on-board graphics, that's why i have a busted one inside my comp that i'm using...if it had on-board i'd definitely use it.
Anyway, a new problem has come my way....interne
t doesn't work on the dell now. It did when i had the ethernet going
directly from the DSL box to the comp, but when i hooked it up to the router, nothing. BUT, it works fine on my computer.
I have the cabled hooked up correctly....i
t goes
DSL box --(ethernet cable)--Router--(ethernet cable)---Dell and my comp
I know it has to be set up right somehow because it works on mine just fine. Also, you know that little icon in my task bar that had two computer monitors with a Red X going through it? Well, now it has two computers with a yellow triangle warning sign instead.
I know this must be a bitch trying to figure out, but i'd appreciate some help. Thanks.
