Does anyone have a firmware disk or know where I can get one to re-format the hard drive on my X-Box?

I couldn't find anything on the MS web site.  But I know there is a way to make a disk with your X-Box but mine is no workie so I can't.

If you want to format it just take it out pop it in your pc and format it in winders

i had a mod box a while ago, what i would do is connect you box up like you normally would, look for a program that would format it for you (make sure your HD is unlocked) and it should do the trick... BTW what happened to your Box?

It just Quit.  But after researching the w/site bonehead gave me I think I have the Christmas tree disease.  Long and short, a chip on the MB is no good.  So I guess I will have to replace MB.  I thought is was a corrupted firmware.  I guess I was wrong.  I think I may need new box.

hold on, what just quit? and what got a chip in it the Motherboard, wtf does that mean? like a Physical chip breaking off the board?

When I power up the X-Box it goes to the splash screen and then kicks up the message that your X-Box is in need of servive in 6 different languages. There is no code on the screen.  The eject button that is normally green, flashes red and green.
