That was sad.
Dogs shouldn't be kept around the house as pets all the time anyway. They don't get much of a life at all anymore, they just sleep eat and take the occasional walk. Most modern dogs are just over-bred mutants, especially those handbag dogs that celebrities carry around with them. My Grandpa used two keep pure bred black Labradors for shooting and hunting (beautiful dogs). They basically lived for the chase and the excitement, but when one got too old and couldn't keep up anymore and you could tell they didn't wanna be around anymore, Grandpa used to shoot them in the wood and use the next best one. That may sound harsh, but they had pride and purpose as working dogs and once they've lived that life there's no way they'd grow old gracefully lying on a rug without going insane. I think all dogs should have a purpose and be able to perform it, some of these new breeds are just an abomination of nature.
