Will be............ ..............
A new computer. (No it won't be a mac Rosh, keep your pants on.)
This is what I want: http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/asus-g74sx-dh73-3d/4505-3121_7-35024956.html
It goes for around $1800+ from what I've seen. I did find a refurbished one for $1550 but it was sold. SOOOOO I don't wanna spend more that $1600 and I found this: http://windsormallforcomputer.ecrater.com/p/15004751/asus-g74sx-dh73-3d-173-notebook
It SAYS its the same laptop (There are 3 different models of this specific laptop and I want the 3D one) but it is WAY cheap, even for the 2 other lower models.
My question is, If this site is actually selling a different model than what they say, what are the legal obligations they could get into by selling me the wrong laptop? Would I just have to return it?
Fast replies please, cause if this is for real this mother fucker will go fast!

Don't gamble on obligations of an internet store. Never worth it. I would recommend looking elsewhere for the laptop.
I actually own a G73, the previous model of the laptop you want. It's a great laptop, but I hope you understand that the battery life is not as great as a Macbook or smaller laptop. The g73 should me significantly cheaper as well.

Never worth it? its almost $700 less, that seems worth it.

Newegg has an excellent return policy as well, but if you even open the package you cannot return it. At least for laptops that is.
If you're sure it'll work then go for it. See if someone else will post what they think.

Hah not my money. DO IT

I emailed the owner of the site and asked if the product he was selling was unopened and included everything listed the product on this page: http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/asus-g74sx-dh73-3d/4507-3121_7-35024956.html?tag=mncol;subnav
We shall see

"The item is Brand new never opened with warranty and comes with all accessories"
I just got a killer fucking deal. See you all on BF3.

I guess I'll agree with you. It's only because there's no dildo that's pre-attached to the computer this time.

Yes there is.

Welp, I got pwned. Turned out to be a fraud, I should've gone with my gut. I made sure before I bought it that I would be fully covered by my bank and Visa for fraud tho so ill be getting my money back.
I've been thinking about it and I think I am going to get the G75 instead: http://www.cnet.com/laptops/asus-g75vw-ds72-17/4507-3121_7-35229167.html?tag=mncol%3bsubnav
I wanted the 3D because my projector is 3D compatible so I can only imagine how awesome that will be, however, 3D is a major headache (literally). I just remember watching Avatar at the Imax and being dizzy as fuck.
Does anyone have any experience with 3D gaming? I've heard it takes a lot of getting used to, but i've also heard that once you get used to it its epic. Who the fuck knows tho, it probably causes cancer (hah).
-
inb4 I told you so from everyone.
I have no experience with 3d gaming outside of the old Nvidia glasses that were total shit.
-
Imho 3D gaming is harder. Kind of cool at first but more of a gimmick. I'm a COD fiend and playing on my friends 3D TV made the game somewhat confusing with so much going on, and after about 30 minutes I had a headache. But that was about a year ago so things could have changed? I just feel like you'd spend more money for something that is a cool concept but is actually a pain in the ass.

The guy must have felt the heat on his back because my bank account magically had a $1125.00 deposit in it yesterday. That was pretty surprising to say the least. Good thing tho cause I didn't to have to fill out any paperwork for the bank.

Well I am searching all over the intranets to find the best possible deal.
So far I see the best option as either pro-star.com or xoticpc.com
They offer customizable options and get rid of the shit I don't want (like the ASUS leather backpack), which lowers the price quite a bit.
Im debating whether to get a standard 750gb HDD or to upgrade to a 60gb SSD for the main drive, then later put the "other" on in myself.
I know Ill save money buying an SSD on newegg but I would rather have the OS preinstalled on the SSD so I don't have to mess with it. Thats just a laziness issue, however.
The only things I plan to modify (other that the HDD) is to go from 12gb of 1333mhz ram to 16gb of 1600mhz ram (+$25 so not a bad deal) and also upgrade to a 4x Blu-Ray 8x CD/DVD optical drive (+$50) . The standard only comes with a 8xCD/DVD drive.
I am hearing good things about Sager tho so I might compare and contrast a similar laptop on that side. Any advice from someone more knowledgable in this would be appreciated.

OK I finally bought a damn computer... After all that I went with BestBuy's version of the laptop: Here (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+17.3%26%2334%3B+Laptop+-+8GB+Memory+-+1TB+Hard+Drive/5176239.p?id=1218621250769&skuId=5176239&st=g75&cp=1&lp=1)
Compared to the version I was going to get from xoticpc.com...
- It has 8gb memory instead of 12gb
- 1Tb HDD instead of 750Gb HDD
- Nvidia GTX 660m instead of 670m (Found it interesting that most people preferred the 660m which is the main reason I bought this model.)
- Cost $1250 ($1344 after taxes) instead of $1450
But OF COURSE they didnt have one in-store, so they should have it in by the 26th or earlier for me to pick it up.
The upgrades I'm getting from newegg:
- SAMSUNG 4GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Laptop Memory Model MV-3T4G3/US ($24)
- Corsair Force Series 3 CSSD-F120GB3A-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) ($95 after rebate)

The hell you need 12gb of RAM for? Are you doing work in virtual environments or something?

You have to remember that he's coming from a Mac. They aren't the smartest bunch...

I want 12Gb of Ram so I can do work in multiple programs at once. Adobe suites are memory hogs. Running Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat , Flash, or Cad programs all at the same time will bog a machine down, especially when rendering high profile objects. I want to be able to work without hiccups and be able to transfer files from one program to the next without delay.
"Thats still way too much Ram"
Well what if I'm downloading files, converting movies, and all that jazz at the same time? It will come in handy quite often, I can tell you that.

Your laptop comes with 8GB already and you want to buy 4GB more to add in. Chances are that 8GB is split up into 2x4GB since most laptops have 2 DIMM slots. So you buy a third stick but won't have any place to put it in. They can use a single 8GB stick but that is much costlier than splitting it up.

There are 4 DIMM slots. The Laptop supports up to 32Gb (that's 8Gbx4)
Aren't you the copyright Owner of the term "Googleit"?

Sorry I was confused which laptop it was after you posted several revisions due to your inability to notice scam sites.

Everyone of them had 4 DIMM slots. So you're still fuckin retarded.
