Why are you trying to make a hack for dx8? it would be smarter to make it for dx9.

Well dx8 has some same functions as dx9 but dx9 has different methods and most of the newer games use the dx9 interface. dx10 will soon be released.

Yeah i dont know to much about it, but i got the D3D starter kit and he was helping me. It comes with an injector, and everytime i would go and load a game it would crash as the game was loading. It worked only 2 times out of about 30. So i sent him it and it worked fine for him. So i then thought it was something with the injector. so i used DCInjector and now it works fine :)
I also found out with the other one that if you go into a server with it, you cant go back to that server, or that map again(without it crashing) . but with DCInjector it works fine.

Yeah but i would rather use the injector that it came with. It was easier, put the exe and the DLL in the same spot, and run the exe,hit ok and run BF. But i guess its good. Feel free to close
