Just got this Asus yesterday.



4 Gb of Ram
120 Gb HD
Intel Centrino 2 @ 2.24 Ghz (Currently overclocked at 2.5 Ghz)
Windows Vista Home Prem. runs great
Nvidia Geforce 9800M GS (512MB) Class 1 video card
HDMI

Runs great. The gaming is awesome. Definitely a good buy for a $1000 budget.

It's easier then you think. The laptop came with Direct Console which enables the user to select between 3 processor speeds 2.24 ghz, 2.4 ghz, and 2.5 ghz. So when used for gaming, I select 2.5 ghz but I make sure I'm down in my cool basement to keep it from crashing because it sure throws out the heat.
