I usually don’t say anything about custom maps for BF because lets face it most of them aren’t that good, servers don’t run them or they don’t have coop. BUT this one I think is worth telling others about.
The map is set on the 2nd wave attack from the Japs at Pearl Harbor. I must say this map is well put together for the BF1942 player, yes there is some problems with it (no lighting) and with ALL the STUFF some lag, but all in all it is just plain fun to play.
The map is BIG very BIG, there is a ALLOT of object that are “dead” on the ground and in the water that just makes you feel “HELL” has just come to you and you have to try to find a way to get away from it. The makers have added some “NEW” add ons to vehicles and sounds as well to the map. The best part… There is coop play and the bots aren’t bad, they are not really that aggressive, but fun to kill non the less.
EDIT... Oh by the way… The Japs don’t have a Carrier, the planes (
10 of them, more spawn as the planes are taken) are floating in the air on the farthest end of the map and up very high, so if you spawn on the Jap side don’t get out of your plane.
