i just bought the xps 600 guys!!!!! It's awesome. i hope nothing happens to it in the building or shipping process. The stats i remebr are:
3 ghz dual core, 1 gb ram at 667mhz, 250 gb hd sata 2, 20 inch ultrasharp widescreen flat panel,   .............. .......

I cant wait for it!!!!!

The thing is, it's coming in like 1 and a half weeks.

I would have got the xps 400, it will do the exact same thing and is much $$$

oh dells lcd's are ghost city they use panels from lg and samsung and most of them are like 12 - 8ms When I got my system I got the 19" crt flat screen it was really nice. I was affraid to get an lcd because of the ghosting in games. So I took the chance one day and ordered a dell 19" lcd and after 5 mins of seeing 3 of the same thing I sent it back and got me a viewsonic 2ms and I must say it blew me away :)

price: maybe a little bit too much, about 1700
 well, i did upgrade from a 400 mhz p2 comp with 512mb memory and 12 gb hard drive. it is like 7 years old. my folks are probably not going to get me another pc for maybe ten more years so, well...... oh, by the way, all the option i chose were the standard things, no big upgrades.

Damn I really hope for you it also has a videocard ;)  lol, what is the videocard?

Your pc is just a bit better then mine, your ram is 667Mhz, and mine is 533Mhz, and thats the only big difference I guess. Oh yeah, and the videocard will be better too since I have a 6700 XL
btw 3.0Ghz dualcore runs fucking great, I love it.
