I was planning on buying a new computer. but dont know what to buy. itll mainly be used for games, music and a some schoolwork. but it cant be too expensive becuase im not rich like iceman. so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Build your own or get a decent premade like a dell.

You can build a good one for not much, or get a med ranged dell with a good graphics card.

Hmmm. I bought one from ebay, since thats where i live. I didnt get ripped of to much ( Well at least i didnt know). My pC runs great though. The only thing i really got ripped of the was that the PC included tons of games, he only gave 4. All of them where online. But he also gave the key to everyone else he sold a PC too. He also gave everyone the same Windows key, so i cant Download anything from microsoft now. I probably could of built it myself for cheaper, but im a noob so i would probably mess it up.

I think its best to build it yourself.  Start doing some research and find the best stuff for the cheapest price and you will have what works for you.

Well twisted, if you don't know how to make your own computer then I would recommend going with a dell.  They have great dell systems that are really cheap and play all the games now-a-days on high settings.

make sure you get a gig of ram or more, and get a decent video card too.

Yeah also make sure mommy pays for it eh Phantom. Even 2 gigs of ram isnt enough anymore maybe 4 would do the trick LOL.

would be a good system upgrade the mem to 1gb and the graphics to x600 and you will be able to run all games at high settings.

Even if you do not upgrade the mem and graphics you will still be able to play most games at med to high settings.

Well turn that ass in... goto crapsoft and report your key as fake then they will give you a legit one with proof you bought the system.
