Just format the hard drive to get rid of your personal files.
Here's how to change computer name: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/295017

Point, nothing is safe even after a format, the best you can do is remove windows and then reinstall (or the best put in a cheap NEW HD) with a name of your choice or ask the buyer the name they would like on the computer with the new windows install.

just remember, the only safest way to make sure EVERYTHING is erased is to actually destroy, smash the harddrive. no joke.
there is a great chance that someone can recover some data that u though u might have erased.
good luck with the format and the selling

meh, open up the hard drive, get some strong ass magnets, place it on the discs, and then scratch the disks, no more data lol, magnets will prob do the job themselves

First off you shouldn't be downloading freaking kiddie porn in the first place then you wouldn't have to worry about it. There is nothing you can do to wipe the hard drive clear.
