I am probably going to get some more hippie hug the trees bull, but I recently went to see this movie and was blown away and kinda scared for the world by the end. This isn't some more hippie bullcrap, anyone here seen the movie or have an intelligent opinion on global warming?

Well, I have been thinking a lot lately(must be sober) and I have come to realize that ever since I started playing on Mafia my game has been for shit. First I was ecstatic about the 1 or 2 second timer (its a bitch waiting to spawn in other servers) then I realized it was a hacking server. Once I joined the forum I read posts and actually started to think some of the people on it were pretty cool. Most of them don't like me, but that's my fault. Anyways, I started concentrating on having conversations and shit instead of playing the game, which was pretty stupid. Believe it or not, but I used to be a pretty decent player(gasp!) and it wasn't that unusual for me to get a medal. Im not THAT good at all, but not as shitty as I have played on Mafia. Once I realized that I was trying to figure out how not to piss people off instead of concentrating on my game I knew it had to end:( Im gonna go to straight servers and "find" myself again. Not that any of you give a shit, but well, look at the heading of the thread.... I probably shouldn't write this since I am new as hell, but its more for me as well. I am not changing names or anything to get back. Anyways, forums aren't for me, too much drama, besides, I love the game. Im sick of saying sorry, and it was moot because I can't seem to shut up anyways, always been like that. And don't bother bitching about my posts because you won't have to worry about that, and as im not going to be here don't bother with the hate posts either, it will fall on deaf ears. Im sure I could have gotten to like you all if I had kept my fucking mouth shut, so there.
PS why the hell don't other servers have 1 sec timers? My guess is to stop spawnkilling.. .....

FUN WITH SURVEILLANCE. Turns out the NSA, with the collaboration of every phone company except Qwest, is monitoring all of our calls -- not to listen in to what's being said, but simply to gather data about the calls and draw inferences from that. It's important to link this up to the broader chain. One thing the Bush administration says it can do with this meta-data is to start tapping your calls and listening in, without getting a warrant from anyone. Having listened in on your calls, the administration asserts that if it doesn't like what it hears, it has the authority to detain you indefinitely without trial or charges, torture you until you confess or implicate others, extradite you to a Third World country to be tortured, ship you to a secret prison facility in Eastern Europe, or all of the above. If, having kidnapped and tortured you, the administration determines you were innocent after all, you'll be dumped without papers somewhere in Albania left to fend for yourself.
Once you start in with this business, it's a widening cycle of lawlessness with almost endless possibilities for abuse. Tellingly, the reason Qwest wound up not cooperating with the NSA on this is that the NSA couldn't be bothered to get a court order. Shame on the other phone companies for simply giving in to a request without legal backing.

Help / i need help with a hack I downloaded

[FOHey, I have just downloaded a hack called supernova for version 1.6. At least that is what it says it is, I have never hacked or cheated before, and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on how to run the fucking thing.
It was downloaded into a zipped file, and I was earlier told to just run it while you are playing, but that it takes awhile to get it unzipped.
For some reason I am also having trouble with rar downloads, my com keeps wanting to download it to mozilla for some odd reason. Anyways, I am feeling extraordinaril y stupid and out of my depth, and at the risk of sounding like a complete idiot I am asking for help.

Help / how do I join Ventrilo?

The title pretty much explains itself. When I clicked on server stats, I clicked on Ventrilo live, and it said JOIN OUR SERVER. When I clicked on it, Mozilla said that it couldn't do that. Is there any other way to join? Thats pretty much it:)

I am repeating myself I know, bear with me:) I want to get some honest answers.
Does anyone find it funny that alcohol is legal yet marijuana isn't? Think about it, there are alcoholics everywhere who have serious problems with addiction and withdrawl, but the effect marijuana has is only psychiological . Also, if you drink too much alcohol, you're gonna throw up and feel like shit, whereas if you toke too much, you will just fall asleep.(most likely with some weird dreams:)
And finally, if you get drunk the night before you are obviously going to have a hangover (headaches, neausea, basically feel like shit) but with marijuana all you will have is a little crusty eyes. I think that it is an outrage that marijuana is villified yet alcohol is so accessible.
