It is a camel spider.  We used to catch those and scorpions and have them fight.  It was pretty fun.  They get pretty big.

They look big enought 4 a freakin meal / with some rice maybe !!

  No the spiders hang on the under belly of a camel and drink their blood.  That is how they got their name.
