This is the worlds fastest civil sector computer. 892kb image (sorry pawpaw)
I.B.M BlueGene/L
sustained processing calculations per second "36.01teraflops"
max burst calculations per second "360teraflops"
this machine is not measured in cpu speed like gigahertz it is measured in calculations per second.
1 teraflop=1 trillion operations per second or approx 500 billion cycles per clock.
So if we was to take what it does on a stable run then this bad boy can compute
36teraflops=36 trillion operations per second approx 18 trillion cycles per clock with 128 registers per controler that will give us an approx over all processing speed of "1.1terrahertz" power consumption is approx 1kw per 4 cycles so this thing will use more power in 5 minutes of full load than you do in a house in a month.
Also note this unit uses raw memory as its data storage at 12.2terrabytes thats 12,200gigabytes this unit also does not need any graphics or sound chips as the unit can more than enough use software instructions sets to perform calculations on graphics and sound better than any card money can buy or will ever be at that matter.
This unit has the sheer power to render a complete vr world if only we hade the know how to program such graphics
but imagine bf at 50,000x50,000 resolution with every possible vertek and pixel shaders you can think of maybe even some fusion graphics if we knew how lol.
So pawpaw saddle up and you and momma can go buy you one of these bad boys and then you can rent a raw connection to the government backbone "raw net" so we can run a few hundred thousand servers you would never even notice the draw
lol you would also need to have a sub station installed to power it and a liquid nitrogen system able to carry away the heat that fucker would make after discharging that 1kw per 4 cycles lol so all in all pawpaw it would cost you approx 40 million for the computer a few million for a liquid nitrogen system to handle that bad boy and maybe 500,000 to build a sub atation to power it plus the fee to pay for the raw net feed maybe 750,000 month so what do ya say pawpaw
Oh this is what your baby would look like.
