Try to format the CD's, or you could always just pour gas on your cd's and light them.  That is how I burn my CD's, but watch them, it depends on how bad you want to burn them.

ExcoWear... You have to make sure the CDs can be read by the CD burner/player. Most people don't know that all that is needed is a firmware upgrade to read "new" cd formats. Go to the site that makes the CD player/burning and see if they have a update, they will also tell you how to do the firmware upgrade. If you need help, just post the info (info for the CD is in "Device Manager") of the Player/Burning and I will try to help.

EDIT... Also do a search here on this forum, I think we had something like this thread going on about 6 months ago or so, there could be info there that could help you.

make sure, that u have the right CD for ur CD/DVD drive. take care about the + and -. not every drive supports every CD typ.

and if i´m right, nero has nothing to do with the firmware of ur CD drive.
pls correct me if i´m wrong in this point ;)

btw: there r some ways to get ur nero unlocked, but....
not the right place for this. i´m sure some mafians can help u in this case ^^
