Nixon was a good president it wasnt like he was selling drugs or anything, the water gate scandel wasnt something that wasnt that severe..
yeah, nothing like illegal wire tapping...it's not that big of a federal law. The only thing he did that could go on the "Pros" list would be trying to increase peace talks with the chinese, and that's it.
and @ bonehead....FD
R and TR were NOT all about money, you should know better. Come on man, you can't just diss everyone with power and call them all "thieving corporate money bags." I would agree that since the late 70s that is all we've been seeing, but some of the early presidents during the early 20th century were very good.
It's kind of like when you hear punker kids saying "oh man, fuck the system, money is everything here, i hate religion and "the man" because they control everything, fuck the system man." I'm not saying that you're saying that, it's just similar that you're kind of putting the blame on all people with money/power instead of the majority who actually is corrupt. Sure, there are plenty of bad guys out there, but you can't just say they're all bad. I did an assload of reasearch during junior year for a report in US history, and a great example would be Andrew Carnegie, he was someone who started out with nothing and died with nothing, not because he gambled all him money away, but because he gave it all to charity and improving society, like Carnegie Hall and Carnegie Public Library.
