I agree he was a president, and did as the government told him to do...
and he busted 40 monopolies, that's why he's "TR, the trust buster!"
also improved working conditions for lower class workers, helped promote workers unions, and he's related to FDR! But i'd have to agree, since the 70s they've been nothing but money grubbers. Except Carter, he was one of the few religious presidents who actually walked the walk. All of them say "oh yes, i'm a deeply religious man" but hardly any of them actually do public works.
Hell, carter is in his 80s and he still pours money into re-building schools/hospitals/affordable housing for hurricane katrina victims. Of course he's always been about charitable programs, he's more of a "good person" than a "good president." He wasn't corrupt, so i guess you could say he wasn't suitable for the job.
