Ok Ive got this problem that when I try to connect to some servers I can't, and get an error message "Data Differs From Server" I thought is was something to do with Misfits patches so I uninstalled everything apart from: "Server Super Secret Special bunker Patches" which after the un-installation I get a pop-up saying "blah blah The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and the thing stays in my add/remove programs list.

So I thought I'd just drag out the modded maps .rfa files from my C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/Battlefield 1942/Mods/BF1942/Archives/bf1942/levels   Ie. Every other suquential version of maps that the patches probably added such as: Wake_000.rfa , Wake_003.rfa , Wake_020.rfa , Wake_021.rfa but then when I tried to play on any server including ours nothing would load so I pasted them all back.

So basically how do I un-install that patch or what do I have to delete so I can play on everyone elses servers. Oh I also tried using the uninstall icon actually in the levels folder for that patch but I get the same error message

Well dune, if you really removed all the maps with  _000 and _003 then thats where your problem lies... the _000, _001 and _003 files are original files. So put only those back, and you should be all set

Yes that fucking sucks, but if they didn't change the release date of the demo, the game itself would be delayed...  and that would suck even more.

  How the hell do you become a beta tester?  All you fuckers do shit with computers don't you.  I just use it to look up porn and play games.  Fuck, I am in the wrong business.  Killing people just isn't paying like it used to, or as fun. 

Well for me it was pure luck that I got a key, there were multiple ways of getting keys, filefront subscribers could get a key, you could get a key from incrysis.com. But yeah, I was very lucky because I didn't do anything of those things

Hi everyone, We have some news to announce.

First, I am sorry for the bad news - the Crysis single player demo will now be available everywhere on October 26th, 2007. We are taking some extra time to make sure you that you have an amazing experience but also we did not want to risk the release date of Crysis at this stage. To get the game into your hands by November the 16th, we had to make this call.

Now the good news - the big surprise. The SP demo will be released with our CryEngine 2 - Sandbox 2 game editor, giving the community the opportunity to get familiar with the vast amount of tools they will have at their disposal four weeks before we ship, something we have always wanted to do. This is an exciting time for us at the studio as the development of Crysis comes to an end and we are only a few weeks from Gold Master.

We appreciate your patience and are looking forward to getting Crysis into your hands on November 16th.

This news has been out for a couple of days, but thought I'd post it anyways since tomorrow is the 25th.

The good news (for me) however, is that I got a beta key, and I'm downloading the beta right now . Can't wait to beta test it ONLINE, w00t. I'll see if I can make some nice screenshots of the online play and host 'm.
