Hey guys, can you do me a favor and just post in this thread if you want to be in the match vs [SWG]. Make sure you can be there, its this Saturday, April 9, at 11:00pm EST/10:00pm CEN/9:00pm MNT/8:00pm PAC
There are only 12 spots open. I will send you a PM when the time gets closer giving you the password for the server. Here is who I have so far:

I think it should be 3 SWG for every 1 MAFIA to keep things fair.

I am making a completely new map for bf1942 that would fit perfectly for clan battles. I will most likely have it done in another day or 2. If everyone likes it we should use it for the scrimage and have everyone from SWG download it as well. I thought a good way to distribute maps would be by having another clan download it as well. Well here is an idea of what it is like so far...
Name: MAFIA_Warzone
Size: Small (bigger than berlin)
Teams: Americans and Germans
Vehicles: mostly tanks (panzerVI and t34), jeeps (same kind as philipines), 1 plane spawn for each team(mustang).
Map is gonna be very intense, and very difficult to capture flags due to base set up. The structure is kinda like battleaxe...a warfield in the middle (no spawn points in the warfield) with an axis base on one side and allied base on the other. Axis base is going to have a very slight advantage.

If it works, props to you. Believe me though, mapping isnt just drawing out a landscape and putting in strategic points. theres alot more to consider. Take it from an expert hl1 mapper. ;)

sweet that sounds like a good plan. what side woudl we be though. would we give them the advantage or have it for ourselves?

Just a reminder, our scrimmage vs. [SWG] is tonight at 11:00pm EST/10:00pm CEN/9:00pm MNT/8:00pm PAC. For those of you who are playing, you should have recieved a PM with the password.
If you are not involved, but think you'll be around tonight at that time, I would stay up with the forum and/or get on ventrilo, just in case somebody can't play for whatever reason.

Sorry I think it will be best for me to pull out of this... The last 2 days I have been having connection problems when in game (I love you 56k). I think you need someone on High speed anyhow so you can have them on vent while in game. Sorry, kick some butt!!!
