I've had the same problem a few years ago.  The pictures are probably gone like somebody already said.  But in case they are still there, Jessica's dad might know how to get them.  You should IM or call her and ask her to ask her dad.

You can send it to a data recovery place they can byte rip the disk that is the only way to recover lost data on a disk.
