Help / Resolution problem
« on: September 11, 2008, 06:49:12 AM »
Alright, I used to have a resolution of 1650 x 1050 on my monitor, I have a Acer AL2216W 22".

It always worked fine, I had a nVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT and I upgraded it too a nVIDIA GeForce GTX280.

And 'till now it worked smoothly, no problems.
But about an hour ago, I turned on the PC and the monitor had a resolution of 1360 x 768, and the largest resolution is 1600 x 1200, wich doesn't look nice on my monitor.

Now I also tried to change it too 1650 x 1050 with the nVIDIA Costum resolution, but it keeps going back too 1360 x 768.

I don't know what to do, and Google only gives me products of the GTX280 and my monitor.

Please help me... I'm so frustrated!

PS. I also tried downloading the new Driver of nVIDIA, and nothing.

Would that be possible?

Games / Crysis
« on: November 15, 2007, 12:53:02 PM »
I got it today and I've played till im in the second level and I can tell you... It's damn harder then it looks on those trailers and movies...

Especialy when I was trapped in this house and the Koreans were closing in on me and had me surrounded (made a little mistake by not puttin on silencers  ::) )
Anyway, I killed every single one of the Koreans. ^^

And the difficulty is only on Medium... so, I wonder how it's on Hard... and more...  :o

And I haven't tried online yet... Only with the MP Beta...

Anyway, I think it was worth buying it totaly!

Help / Graphics card changed...
« on: September 01, 2007, 04:56:03 AM »
OK.... I installed my new PC yesterday with Vista and it ran perfectly.
I looked at specifications ... and it said I had a Nvidia GeForce 8600GT...

Later in the evening I installed Photoshop... etc...
And suddenly my resolution wnet from 1600 x 1200 to 800 x 600 and it installed a Intel 965 Express Chipset Family.....................
Now the resolution is 1600 x 1050 but still sharp as it was with the GeForce.
I tryed Nvidia drivers for both 32bit and 64bit Vista versions... It said it couldn't be installed cause it didn't saw the card... Also the program with setting for the Nvidia is gone...
After this all didn't worked I usid the back up to throw off everything and re-install everything.
And after that it still said I had a Intel 965 Express Chipset Family...

Does someone knows how to solve this? Or is it just a patch kind of thing...

I would appriciate the help.
Thanks,
-Carny.

Hey, I need your opinion about this graphics card.
A 'Ati Radeon X800 Crossfire'. Is it a good card, or is it... Normal or bad?
Thanks,
-Carny.

General / A new Computer!!! w00t!
« on: December 11, 2006, 12:29:11 PM »
Ok, I'm getting a new computer.
It's a Fujistu Siemens Scaleo P with:

Windows XP Home SP2
Pentium Dual Core 820 (2.8 Ghz.) processor, 800 x 2 1 M776
VGA NV 7300SE graphics card,  64M/512M PCIe and TV out. (gonna replace it probely by a 512MB graphics card)
1024 Mb (2x 512 M , DDR533) DDR RAM and I'm gonna upgrade that later to 2GB
(It's called DDR RAM right? Or RIMM or RAMM?)
500 Gb (2x 250 Gb) harddisk
DVD dual layer SM optical drive
11-in-1 cardreader
And a 19" TFT screen.

Only three questions. What graphics card is the 'VGA NV 7300SE graphics card' I couldn't find it on the internet.

How much MB is it?

And it's a dual core, does that mean I have two times 2.8 Ghz? Or is it just one time 2.8 Ghz?

What do you think? Is this a good PC?
