blah, i play on bf a lot i just have vent on my laptop, *sigh*. When you have a family emergency and you are told to leave NOW and pack right then sometimes its hard to just remember to get on ventrilo and tell your Bf42 buddies that your going away for a while. people die, its not my fault, but it involves me.

May i ask if it would be possible to be *mafia* again? I have been out of town, and working 48 hour weeks, i will get on to play more if thats what it takes. i havent been on vent as i havent been able to get 2.3.0 for a while, and now i am on.

I propose we make it a PB server and keep the newb hackers out......
It only seems fair to me? If someone is smart enough to make a PB hack then they should be allowed to hack... otherwise, they just downloaded it and they have no skill.

That's nothing impressive, those slow moving bullets aren't made to hit sharp edges like that...
That's not your average iron or stainless steel sword either... looks like carbon steel or carbon steel with some sort of titanium or other reinforcing alloy in the core.
Don't know if thats a Browning M2 .50 cal, it looks like it... Those bullets look more like 30 cal bullets though, so its possible its a japanese Browning 1919, 30-06 machinegun...
If that sword got hit in the SIDE with one of those bullets, it would be destroyed first shot, and you'd see it pierce in the slow motion crap they play it in.
Works the same way as bullet proof glass, if you shot a bullet at it it hits a small point, and thus stays together, but if you throw a ladder at it, it shatters. This is because the impact is spread out. With the blade directing the sharp and strong edge directly at the soft copper/lead bullet, it cuts it in half.
The heat that a M2 or a 1919 puts out, especially after a few rounds, will definitely heat the bullet up VERY hot, and make it extremely soft. The hotter the bore is, the more it increases the bullets temperature, and at that speed makes it like a hard jello. It will still deliver the energy of the bullet, but it will not pierce the sharp edge, thus breaking up or deterring.
I honestly doubt it was the machinegun that was firing at it, theres no way a stock browning M2 or even a 1919 could hit a target as thin as that blade, especially that many times.
Looks cool, but it also looks like a demo of some new sword they are trying to sell the innocent japanese people.

That guy is fine , unfortunately the cat did no damage but a few scratches.
I don't know what they were aiming at? For some "experienced" hunters they didnt hit crap, those bullets, if legal, should expand and STOP in the animal, whether it be soft points, hollowpoints, or JHP's... (thus, the dirt flies up and signifies a MISS)
I don't think they need those bolt-action rifles they need something semi-auto or even full-auto the way they shoot.
Poor kitteh........
But, 1 out of 9 shots, and the first (the hit) was when the cat was standing still... they had ample time to shoot the cat before and never made an effort to.
Sad, they didnt even get near the kill-zone with the first, still, hit.

I don't know about scissors, but BALANCED throwing knives, are thrown like you hold a hammer.
Hold the blade along your fingers and put your thumb upward. As you throw lean into it a bit. It's recommended a 6 foot distance, and after some practice you'll figure out the rotation...
Also, for those of you who don't want to do the "redirect" link, heres a direct link to it:
