hey guys i think there is a new aim virus that is being sent around. i clicked on a link today from a friend and it shut my aim off and deleted it . not before it sent the link to all the people who were on my list. it also deleted my mycomputer and someother icons onmy desktop. changed my back ground and mad a crap load of pop ups come up even when i wasn't on the net. if any one knows of this and knows how i can get rid of it please tell me thanks.

Hmm talon sent me a virus like that deleted everything off my desktop, application data, backround.  I didnt even bother with everything else so I reformatted...

Moral of the Story...
Dont open files from niggers and by niggers I mean insane and talon.

ya i think i got it all back, it shoudl be gone did some updtating with my norton and windows and some spyware stuff so i think it is gone.

yeah i got a virus like that.. i didnt get all the desktop shit its just my computer kept crashing and restarting.. :S i got mine thru msn..

Same thing happened to me a long time ago (but still screwed up). What can I do without reformatting?

I suggest sprinkling chicken blood over your mother board, while chanting :

After rebooting, everything should be fine.  Note:  This approach has been known to cause some slight sound problems, IRS tax audits, and may summon the undead.

If all else fails, I suggest you dress up in a grass skirt and make fun of the lawn mower.  It won't help your problem, but it always seems to cheer me up.

i just got norton, found the virus and deleted it. i also reinstaled aim. and ran a crap load of scans on my comp for trojans and spy ware.

i have never had a virsu lik ethat. i let my immune system take care of everything. got to love my killer t cells.
