On my add or remove programs list is all of this bull shit, plus plenty more.  WTF is all this shit, and can I get rid of it some how?

Yeah, highlight it and click remove program or uninstall.

DONT touch that stuff!!! those are updates for windows if you delete one of those things you can get some epic failures...

Ha, they shouldn't all be there, you only need the latest one.  I don't have any of them - don't download them, just run them.  NOOBS!

Should be a check box towards the top of the dialog box called "show updates". Uncheck that bad boy.
