Hey guys I'm gonna be gone for a bit till i figure out how to make battlefield 1942 work on windows7.... i got windows 7 and now it says i have an invalid cd key when i play battlefield !! anyone know anything about this?

When you play it or install it?

Uninstall and reinstall the game.  Make sure you delete the folder in your C: drive as well.

C:\Windows\System32

Delete that folder and then restart your computer. It should get rid of any viruses that doesn't allow you to play the game. It worked with me.

If you registered your game on another computer of course it won't let you install it on a different computer. Either get a new cd-key or buy another battlefield.

What did I do? If he knows how to use a computer and managed to install Windows 7, then I'm pretty sure he's not stupid enough to delete that folder. It was a joke, and now I can see that people aren't the way they used to be around here.

No it's not that they can't be trusted. It's that you act like a baby when someone takes something away from you or criticizes you. Just because you are an admin doesn't make you an ultimate power over everyone else and it doesn't give you the right to treat people whatever way you like just because you're angry.
