Damn its a dire situation when you have to pretend you live elsewhere for the sake of credibility. What gets me is.... at not one time has Ricardo ever stuck up for his own nation in anyway. The guy lives there but can't think of one positive thing to throw into any argument to support the credibility of himself or his own nation. No wander everyone thinks the French are a waste of space with spokes people like Ricardo whos only retourt is "You big fat Bigmac noob".
What the hell are they teaching the kids in France? They should teach them to be proud of their nation, not just how to defend themselves from ridicule.
I know a heap load of famous french people I'd throw into any argument If I were French and I don't even live there.
Napoleon, Blaise Pascal, Monet, Pasteur, Marie Curie, Victor Hugo, Gustave Eiffel, Jeanne d'arc, Cyrano de Bergerac, René Descartes, William the conqueror, Henri Matisse, Maurice Ravel, Jean-Luc Godard, François Truffaut, Gérard Depardieu, Jean Reno, Audrey Tautou, Raymond Blanc.
But it seems llike Ricardos more interested in American history than his own and as the saying goes(slightly modified) "how can you earn respect from other nations when you don't even respect your own".
