« on: June 02, 2005, 10:11:39 AM »

ok i didn't know whre i should put this so i put it in here. if you wantto move it to somewhere else then that is cool. ok so my computer was messed up, i couldn't load a web page. so i was doing a system restore. but before my restore wa complete i accidentally hit the plug with my foot. that shut my computer down. and now i can't load anything. it goes all the way to the windows logo and after that is is saposed to go to where i can sign in and get on my computer. but after that it goes to a black screen. if you could help thta would be great. i know that might not have been the best way to say all that but it is all i could do thanks.

Have you tried or do you know how to start your computer in safe mode?

Boot your computer and as soon as possbile hold down the "F8" key (do not let go). Once you do that you soon will see a screen with different option. The 1st one I thank is "Start in Safe Mode" then somewhere on that screen there should be a option "last known good configuration" pick that one and hope for the best. that should get you working again.
