Allahu Akhbar is no different from Grande Signore Iddio del cielo or Großer Gott des Himmels to Christians. Roughly translated it means "God is great" but it can be used like "Grande Signore Iddio del cielo" (means Great God of Heaven) as either a positive thing or a negative thing (like God help me!).
