Thanks, i already have vb6, i want to actually buy it if it is at a reasonable price

Code: [Select]

Dim X as integer
If Price = 150<= x Then
 i will buy

else

i wont

something like that.

the reason i want to buy it is because the "other kind" always seem to have something messed up. like the one now doesnt have msdn instailled and i cant install it

VB.NET is eaisly translated into any C variant on the MSDN but VB6 is being fazed out so you might not have as much like with it.

Well it wouldnt be a waste to me since im going to pursue a career with programming... .

But dont worry about VB6 balth, im most likely going to go to .net really soon since Microsoft no longer sells it and no longer supports it. So there would be nothing to do. I am going to finish my PB proof hack in VB6 then start with .net

Ah ya see that changes it a lot, if you want to be a real programmer then its best to buy it

Isn't VB6 the same thing you can use in programs like ACCESS and WORD? Or is that .net?

yeah u can integrate .net with microsoft access. for connecting a .net database with access.  we covered little bits of it at school.  since it was only an intro to vb.net class
