I was just curious if anyone here makes movies of their playing? I have a small collection of movies from BF1942, SWG, and Star Wars Battlefront but hoped to get any tips if anyone has any.
Currently I use a registered version of Fraps to capture from ingame then I use an AVI screensaver to display all my in game kills (out of game kills are private) :)
I would share but the files are freakin huge and I guess thats my question. I am having a problem compressing the movies into a suitable codec. Any suggestions?

Uhm, the thing is that the Fraps program is freeware that displays a stamp on your movies until you buy it. Its not warez software. The avi screensaver is totally freeware too. Hence my pissed of response to Insane being a forum troll and flaming me for "discussing pirated software" It is all freeware that anyone can download.

This will be the second time I am going to ask you all to stop fighting and cussing each other like middle school kids if there has to be a third time none of you will like it and I can promise that. Have you tried compressing down to MPEG-4? The quality is generally able to be adjusted, but you'll need software to do it, such as Studio 9 or Vegas Video. If you're really into editing, I highly suggest purchasing this software.
