So I used to play 1942 and remembered yalls server and all and got the itch to play it again. I see that you can now download it for free but its not the same version as the original disk. Are the people that are still playing using the original disk or did you download it? I am thinking just getting the disk so that I could use mods again.

ok i just tried a dvd in there and it worked. and i put battlefield in there and it didnt. and my bf cd does not have a scratch on it
so pretty much cds dont work but dvds do

Hey yall i have a Lenovo thinkpad that i got in december last year. And now the cd drive is messing up. It was working fine until i put another cd in the drive, then it stopped reading cd's all together. The cd tray still opens, and i can hear it spinning inside of the computer. Does anyone know or have any suggestions on what might be wrong and how to fix it?
