Hey i need a nice pair of Drumsitcks, for Marching Snare Drum.
If anyone knows of any nice pair, please tell me. I think Jeff Queen's sticks are good, but i dont really like him to much ( He thinks a good percussionist, is someone that can play fast). So please give me some links.

Y wouldnt I? Its cool to me. And there is no other band to be in at my school. It goes
1st semester Marching Band
2nd semester Pep band (Concert Band)

I use Ahead Easton sticks, they will last you forever and if you are just begining to do marching snare then you are most likely going to get quite a few rimshots so you will need something that is not going to break after a prolonged amount of playing. You can buy them at several retail stores but I get all my goodies from Midwest Percussion (http://www.midwestpercussion.com/sticks/easton.html) and Musicians Friend (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/perc?g=perc).

Cool thanks Balth. I like the First link, But the tapes for the Marching Drum sticks, are to long for what i like. But i will keep those links in my favorites.

i am marching band. now it's my 3rd year in it. if you have ever heard of homestead high school in california, i go there. last year we got 6 th place in the whole state. by the way i play tenor saxophone. so i am going to be in marching band(includes pep band), jazz band, and wind ensemble(advanced band). good luck in your season.

I dont see why people go to band practice for the school, I would rather just take art and sleep thru it and piss off the teacher.

If you want to see a real drummer, download the Neil Pert drum solo, he is in the band RUSH and he is the baddest drummer ever, and you can be next. :)

Actually Laz If you do a little research you'll find that thats EXACTLY what the aincient cambodian warrior tribesman used to drum with during ceremonial festivities celebrating the loss of anal virginity in the young tribes men and their goat companions.
