Is There Anyway to change the background music in bf1942. like the menu music?

You could always turn it off and play your own.

I usually leave my background music open. What I do is I play my music through my boxes, and the game music + ventrilo through my headset.
That means you have good muxic, and you still hear where the shooting is :).
