The construction of the new world trade center started today.  It's going to be called "Freedom Tower" and its going to be 1776 feet tall (kinda cool huh?).

At 1776 feet Freedom tower will be the world's tallest building (meaning skyscraper) and the only other tallest free standing structure (a tower with no guide cables holding it up) will be the CN tower in Toronto, but it is not considered a buidling.  The CN tower stands at 1815 feet tall.  I say they make the liberty tower 2000 feet and fuck the world in the ass and no one will ever build anything taller,  or at least the add 40 feet more just to beat the CN tower by a foot. But the coolest thing woulda been 2140 feet tall. A FUCKING HALF A MILE TALL.  Show that America pwns all those bitches and haterz. The Freedom tower is expected to be finished in 2009.

yea the old ones were 1480s this is 1776 ft... it will be the tallest building in the world when its done.

Its old news in the sence that the idea and design has been around for a long time.  But it is new and good news that they are starting construction.  I was affraid they wouldn't go through with it for fear that it would be a target.  I think it needs a giant US flag at the top.  It all about expression of freedom.  Suck that Jihad.
