I heard today that a hurricane produces more energy in 10 minutes than all of the nuclear weapons in the world. Its a broad statement but its something worth considering.

My sister and her boyfriend are actually thinking about coming down to my house in VA.  From the radar I saw of my area, I will be on the outside of it.  Just alot of rain and winds up to 50mph.  I got alot of booze and I am ready for it.

Didn't you say your sister's BF was black? Rain and strong winds should be the least of your worries.

Yeah i dont live to close to any rivers so my area probably wont get flooded. The most ill have to deal with is most likely some power outages.

Just spent 45 minutes on my front stairs sitting in it. Rain is just pouring down and constant wind gusts. Loving every minute of it. Probably only going to sleep for a few hours tonight so i can be awake for when the eye passes through

When setting my alarm for 7 am i forgot that today was sunday... it never went off. Not sure that it would have woken me anyway since i slept through 4 phone calls. Cant believe i missed the best part. Either way its passed through now but there is certainly some major flooding in a few places.
