The first Battlefront was built on the BF1942 engine. Several Mafia played the original game and we liked it. Battlefront 2 is just that much better. The graphics are great and they've added new planets and best of all is you can play as a Jedi and get to battle in outer space.

There's a training mode, a single player mode with instant battles and campaigns and multiplayer mode WITH NO PAY TO PLAY.
Maps are Assault, Conquest and Capture the Flag.

Don't let your bad experience with Battlefront 1 on PS2 disuade you from trying Battlefront 2. The PC version was real good. Give it some time then ask others how it is. One real good thing is the system requirements are very low considering the the graphics involved. Game play is fast, frantic and smoooooth, at least on single player and training mode.

Just bought Starwars BF2. Pretty good graphics but I am amazed at how great the game actually is. Great gameplay, huge worlds and plenty of action, the AI bots are smart, lots of details put into the battle grounds of each event. Awesome so far.
