Vanilla;
For processors, if your pricerange is between 200-300$
I would go for the Intel core 2 Quad (Q6600)
I found one for 268$, and the Duo was onl 58$ less.
So for 60 bucks more, get the quad.

Now for motherboards, are you planning on making it SLI?
If so, I would go with an asus 650i or 680i. Make sure it supports Intel Quad.
For a motherboard like this, you'd be looking at 100$-130$
So it's really not that Pricey.

And the Graphics card is excellent, But If I was you, i'd have bought the BFG 8800 GT 512mb. Cheaper, and works better.

That's the one I bought, and it runs absolutly stunningly.
