Okay i start my own server up once in a while, on berlin CTF, and it is Modded. but every 2 mins i get Disconencted. No one else in my server does just me. Does this happen to all of you that try to run your own dedicated server. I also run local ones when i want to test Mods and it does the same thing. It gets a little annyoing when i go through My maze that takes about 3 mins to go through (becuase you have to wait for the medic pack to refill) and then you get Disconencted. Well i didnt know if anyone had any solutions or answers to why this is happening, besides my internet connection unless that the only reason. But i never get Disconencted when i play on other servers just when i try to run my own.

that's your problem, your dedicated is running off of a home broadband connection and obviously running 2 machines at the same time causes the connection to fail.  DSL/CABLE isn't meant to support the bandwidth needed to run a large number of clients on, especially a server.

Oh alright thanks. Ill have someone like Misfit run the server some times so i can play, then we can switch or something like that. I want to try out my special guns like jetpacks and stuff on poeple but i havent had the chance.


BTW: you guys should come check it out when i have it up. It has teleportation to get to the hangars. The Mazed hangar is real hard to get through so have fun :)

Well misfit we can switch off. Ill have to give You MY Patch ( not the *MAFIA* one the one i made) so when u run it it will be there, but i need to change a little around on it. We can switch off and on or whatever. You have to hook directly up to your modem and not through ur router though
