Just tie your desktop to a male goat.  It'll have plenty of RAM then.

You're supposed to save it to a CD and run it before your OS starts up :P
I did exactly what it said to do, but it wouldn't work.

Find out what motherboard you have if you put it together yourself. If it's an HP or name brand, then their websites will have the update. Sometimes you can update it without having to save the update to cd, but you can only be so lucky.

This has some pretty detailed steps on how to update it. Make sure you read the safety steps or you can completely screw up your computer.

Well before I could do it, my computer started to act retarded.  I do have a question, if the ram is really fucked, would it stop my computer from booting up?  The fucking thing won't even boot up anymore.  It starts and the fan for the processor and the fan on the video card start and then they just fucking run.  Does it sound like ram or my mother board????  I am on my laptop now and need to get this fucking thing fixed cause I won't be able to get in game.  What do I need to do?

Bad RAM does cause bootup problems. Do you hear beeping sounds or get blue screens also?

I don't think your cpu and videocard would start up if your motherboard was faulty, but you may want to look into buying a new mobo if you can find one for cheap that supports ddr3.

Yes I have had a few blue screens and beeping sounds.  I don't think it is my mobo either cause I switched the ram around and it worked for a bit and then took a shit.  I have new ram coming.  It should be here with in the next day or two.  So it sounds like the ram?

Got the new Ram today, I put it into the first two slots and it didn't work, so I guess those slots went bad.  However I put it into my other two slots and BAM, I am back up and running.  Now hopefully that is the fix I needed.  Thanks for the help!

You didn't try switching the original ram into different slots first?

HAHAHAHA, yes I did switch the origianl ram around.  I tried everything you said to do.  LOL.  Replacing the ram was the only way to find the problem and it seems fixed, (FINGERS STILL CROSSED).  I have had no issues so far and I am doing everything that I did before to cause it to act up.  It was when I got the new RAM and put it into the first two slots, that it acted up.  Then I switched it, and it works great.  I also updated my BIOS and everything else.  So, thank you very much!!!!
