The world kinda ended when the dinosaurs got wiped out but some life remained so that doesnt really count. Many scientists believe though that the world has ended loads of times before wiping out all life and its just a natural cycle of the Earth.

Its still very interesting how the Mayens discovered this date i personally think they are slightly off in the year, but then again they managed to calculate the length of the lunar moon as 329 days. being thousands of years ago they were only slightly off so pretty impressive...

They accidently killed there calendar guys. Then they were lick lets just not finish it. Will make scientist think the world gonna end in 2012. Mayans are doing it for the LuLz/
