I see some people under there names they have something like wolfman instead of what type of dragon they are. How do they do this?

My friend uses loads of blank discs to put music on and shit. I put in his disks, they work fine. I want to make my own one, so I put a blank disc into the CD drive. Nothing a few loading stutters and some quiet beeping sounds and on my computer it says there is nothing in that cd drive...
Anyone?
