Al Gore won this useless award. It means nothing any more. It is obviously more a slap at George Bush's presidency then Barack's achievements. Opinion? No fact. The Nobel award nominations are due on Feb 1st. Barack took office Jan 21st. That means he had 9 days as president to qualify. He's been president for over 9 months and still hasn't done anything. A Chuck-E-Cheese token has more clout then this Nobel award.

The french president has done much more than Obama, even though I hate to say it, he's much more suited for the award since he's actually done something. There were over 200 nominees, and I'm sure one of them did more than talk about what they will (or will not) do in the future.
I'm going to unite the entire world once I get into office! Now where's my nobel peace prize?

I think Obama gets a rough deal off alot of Americans, the ammount of debt the US governments in doesn't give him much room to play with . He had to come to office in particularly dire circumstances. Basically as an accountant to recover the US economy. Rednecks would happily see him start up another war maybe with Iran and maybe that would mean he did something of notice for you Kraut? But in reality not starting another war will eventually put money in your pockets in the long run. Its funny how he got awarded the nobel peace prize maybe for simply not starting shit with a middle eastern country nobody gives a crap about. ::)
