We have moved on and are now only running the BF1942 v1.61 server. We hope you will upgrade with us as this server has the same goodies as the 1.6 had.

If you play on misfits server he has also upgraded to 1.61 so please upgrade.

If you don't have 1.61, get it here (http://ftp://largedownloads.ea.com/pub/patches/battlefield_1942_incremental_patch_v1.6_to_v1.61b.exe), and if you want the patchswitcher to go back to 1.6, get it here (http://www.mafiafreeservices.com/files/file_info/download.php?file=MAFIA PatchSwitcher_1.0.rar).

Hey Stimph I editted your post above to fix both your links and your grammar.  I made the links direct downloads instead of just taking them to a site where they have so many options.  And the grammar part, well, you're Dutch and that's good enough.  +Rep though for letting everyone know what to do and where to get it, good thinking, as it is surely going to be asked a lot and we can just direct them to your post.

why bother getting the patch switcher? The only good 1.6 server was the mafia one and we're moving to 1.61, so there's no need to switch back to 1.6

second one-> we just switched, give it time to populate.
